Luna Innovations Incorporated
Graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech, Elias joined Luna Innovations in 2017 and has worked in both Luna's Technology Development and Lightwave divisions. Prior to joining Luna, Elias conducted research in the fields of ocean wave energy harvesting and wind turbine design and manufacturing. Elias began his career with Luna studying nondestructive corrosion evaluation for structural health monitoring in critical applications. His recent work has focused on utilizing high-definition fiber optic sensing in composite material testing and measuring strain in harsh environments.
